Walter Visokay was born into the family business. His father was a self-employed business owner involved in all aspects of home remodeling for 51 years before his retirement. Walter's father/mentor taught him well, from carpentry skills to opening a successful small business, “Visions Home Improvements, LLC” in Connecticut. It was a difficult decision to close the business and move to South Carolina in 2004, but it was a dream Walter and his wife, Pam, had had for several years. After most of Walter's family moved to South Carolina, it seemed only natural for them to follow.
The Other Fella, LLC was incorporated in 2004 by Walter and Pam. In 2006, Pam's brother Greg and his wife moved to Columbia to join Walter and to contribute his knowledge of plumbing and electrical skills to the company. We have always felt that honesty and integrity are critical and that customer satisfaction is our priority. We pride ourselves in outstanding quality service.
We offer a full range of remodeling and renovation services and treat each home as if it were our own. Attention to detail is one of our trademarks. We are licensed, insured and bonded. When subcontractor services are needed, we use only experienced, qualified and highly recommended professionals who are licensed. We stand by our five-year guarantee on workmanship.
